Hello, I am Holly, the pattern maker, the seamstress, the designer, and the vision behind Holly Ellen Designs. My love for creating clothes began in high school. I spent two years earning an Associate's Degree in Liberal Arts at Massasoit Community College. From there I headed to Massachusetts College of Art and earned my Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design. After I had my first baby boy, Patrick, in 2007, I decided to apply my design aesthetic to baby attire. Since then our family has grown (Marcus arrived in 2015) and so has my love for designing. To balance between family and creating, I utilize my home studio, located just off my kitchen. My signature designs include scally caps, bonnets and dresses. The result is fun, fresh, whimsical fashions that always get noticed. Each piece is one of a kind, hand cut, and hand sewn in my Plymouth, MA home studio. Perfect for holidays, special occasions, and photo shoots.
